Datura
Mimbres ceramic pottery (1999-1130AD) is of extraordinary aesthetic and artistic quality. The original painted designs on the bowls depict the Datura flower. An exhibition of the original pottery accompanied by photographs of the Datura flower shown herein, culminated in a publication and exhibition at the Los Angels Country Museum of Art in 2018.
